Well Being

Visiting Professionals

We have regular visits from a hairdresser, chiropodist and optician to enhance our residents well-being.

We provide several hot meals throughout the day and all food is prepared freshly on site. Service users are able to eat in their own rooms if they wish although we encourage everyone to eat together. There is always a choice at mealtimes and we will cater for any dietary requirements.

All laundry is carried out onsite using commercial laundry equipment. We pride ourselves in ensuring your clothing is returned to you in promptly and correctly. We do not offer a dry cleaning facility on site, however we can arrange for it to be carried out locally for an extra charge.

We actively support service users to attend appointments which cannot be carried out onsite by a visiting professional. Transport can be provided to ensure minimal disruption.

Church Services

We hold a church service once a month with members of Rodbourne Cheney Baptist Church. We understand that individuals have different beliefs and follow different faiths and are happy to accomodate your needs.

Pat a Dog

The Pat a Dog scheme is where therapeutic visits are made to hospitals, hospices, nursing homes and care homes with vacinnated dogs and cats. Elderly and sick patients and the most withdrawn often open up and let barriers when visited by a pet.

Library Service

We offer a mobile library service where a variety of books and audio tapes can be delivered to the home for service users.
